The City of Auburn is offering three different 24+ hour classes on disaster preparedness, emergency management, fire safety, disaster communication, and much more. Classes are FREE and basic safety equipment is provided.
Graduates have the opportunity to become registered emergency workers in their city and in the State of Washington.
This spring, a CERT class will be offered in Spanish, as well. You won’t want to miss this opportunity for free disaster preparedness training.
Upcoming CERT Classe
- CERT Class #8: Thursday evenings from 6:30-9-30 p.m. starting March 13 and ending April 17. There are 2 Saturday drills (required attendance for graduation); March 29 and April 19 from 8:00-12:00 noon.
- CERT Class #9: This class will be taught entirely in Spanish. The class will run three Saturdays May 10, 17 & 31st from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Drills will be included in the three days listed. NOTE: There will be no class on May 24th, Memorial Day weekend.
- CERT Class #10: Three consecutive 8 hour days June 24, 25 & 26 from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Drills will be included in the three days listed.
